About me
Hey there! Savannah Sinclair here (they/she) a Chicago based performer, director, choreographer and teacher from Sarasota, FL. After graduating in 2020 from Manhattan School of Music (and a pandemic lockdown spent back home) I made my way to Chicago! There was a $37 one-way ticket and I had never been here before, but it was cheaper than returning to New York. So here I am!
My most recent work has been as a swing at the Marriott Theatre! I’ve worked on Beehive, 1776, White Christmas, Cinderella TYA, Joseph and up next Always Something There. Outside of the Marriott, I’ve played Judy in 9 to 5 and Alice Beineke in The Addams Family (Metropolis Performing Arts Center) as well as Fastrada in Pippin (Music Theater Works)
When I’m not in the show, I’m putting it on! I became interested in choreographing after I had reconstructive foot surgeries in middle school. Working with my own limitations taught me new ways to explore movement. Since coming to Chicago, I’ve directed/choreographed for Great Works Theatre Company and Improv Playhouse. I’m also a teacher for American Eagle Productions.
In 2018, I had the honor of staging the song “Testimony” for DGF: Toasts Stephen Schwartz 70th Birthday Celebration at the Hudson Theatre. That same year, my choreography was featured in the premier of MTI's Aladdin Jr. at the Junior Theatre Festival. Two years ago, I made my way to the Catskills where I directed and choreographed 13: The Musical at Stagedoor Manor.
